Ø To achieve area specific sales targets of his/her respective product vertical or sales division through dealer network and projects.
Ø Network coverage through effective gap town & sub town mapping.
Ø To gather market information & competitor’s activities and providing feedback on buying trends in the weekly reports to respective state/ division/ vertical heads (as applicable) and plan an aggressive strategy to counter the same.
Ø To analyze & review the market response / requirements for evolving market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets.
Ø To regularly monitor and ensure all Dealers / Sub-dealers properly display Somany products/P.O.Ps as per company norms & guidelines.
Ø All inputs in regard to product / services / schemes etc. received/gathered from Dealers / Corporate / Architects and report the same in the weekly reports to the seniors.
Ø Conduct Site/ Project visits as per specified norms
Ø To make calls & connect to architects & contractors as per specified norms.
Ø To monitor and report on any discounts offered beyond the approved scheme
Ø To submit daily call report & market activities on CRM portal.
Ø To coordinate with logistics/dispatch team to ensure smooth and correct dispatches.
Ø Ensure proper implementation of credit policy and timely collection of Outstanding and Sales Tax Forms
Ø To monitor the sales activities and performance of team members/ reportees (if any) and guide them of target achievement
Ø Recommending removal of Dealers &Sub- Dealers as per company rules.
Ø Taking decision regarding in-shop brand visibility and promotional schemes as per company rules.
Ø Decide credit limit of the dealer, based on his credit worthiness.
Ø Active involvement in market development activities like e.g. promotional events/dealer meets/ Seminars/ Mason Meet/ Architect connect/ Channel correction, creation or expansion.
Implementing sales strategy and action plan to increase sales within assigned territory.
Making required no. of cold calls to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
Conducting site visits as per the assigned standards; generating leads and converting them into sales within acceptable discounting limits.
Explore new dealers & sub dealers and appointing them; through effective gap town mapping
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers (channel partners or key clients/ architects/ authorities) by meeting in person and via telephone calls
To make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
To effectively negotiate & finalize the prices and closing sales within acceptable discounting limits
