Role Overview:
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive (AE) to join our sales team for Goodfit. As an AE, you’ll play a key role in identifying prospects, running demos, managing the sales cycle, and closing deals. The ideal candidate comes with a background in assessment software, understands the HR tech landscape, and has experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, product demos, objection handling, negotiation, and closing
Understand the Goodfit platform in depth to confidently demo and communicate ROI to prospective customers
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools and outreach strategies
Work closely with SDRs, marketing, and product teams to refine messaging and improve conversion
Understand the assessment space and positioning of Goodfit relative to competitors
Accurately forecast and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
Gather customer feedback to influence product roadmap and GTM strategy
Responsibilities:
2–5 years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably in assessment, recruitment tech, or HR software
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
Strong understanding of hiring workflows, assessment tools, and decision-making processes in HR
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
Self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience with consultative selling techniques
