Ensure full understanding and implementation of Somany Ceramics Safety Policy and Procedures.

Advise factory departments in planning and organizing measures for effective control of personal injuries.
3.
Check and evaluate the effectiveness of preventive actions for injury reduction.
4.
Provide guidance on safety aspects in all job studies and conduct detailed job safety studies of selected jobs.
5.
Advise Purchasing and Stores on availability and quality of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
6.
Provide advice and guidance on plant safety inspections and related matters.
7.
Conduct plant safety inspections to assess physical conditions, work practices, and procedures; recommend corrective measures for unsafe conditions and actions.
8.
Advise on reporting and investigation of industrial accidents and occupational diseases.
9.
Investigate all reportable accidents in the plant.
10.
Investigate cases of industrial diseases and dangerous occurrences under Rule 96.
11.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accidents, dangerous occurrences, and occupational diseases.
12.
Promote and support the setting up of safety committees, acting as advisor and catalyst.
13.
Design and implement creative safety initiatives (campaigns, contests, competitions, awareness activities) to engage and motivate workers.
14.
Design and conduct training and educational programs (independently or with Training Dept.) on occupational safety and health management.
15.
Coordinate risk assessment studies (qualitative and quantitative), track compliance with all recommendations.
16.
Coordinate third-party inspections, surveys, statutory testing and examinations to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards.
17.
Advise management on legal obligations and compliance with all applicable occupational safety and health legislation.
18.
Develop, review, and implement Site Emergency Plans.
19.
Ensure adequate firefighting equipment is available and maintained in proper working condition.
20.
Verify emergency exits and escape routes for fast and safe evacuation.
21.
Ensure a functioning independent evacuation alarm with continuous sound coverage across all areas.
22.
Organize evacuation drills involving all shifts, departments, and maximum worker participation at least twice every six months.
23.
Ensure safety information and warning signage is visible at all risk-prone areas.
24.
Ensure First Aid equipment is adequately stocked and available in all shifts, across all buildings and floors.
