About This Role

Job Title:

Regional Head – South (Tile Adhesives Vertical)

Location:

Flexible – Bengaluru / Chennai / Hyderabad (South-based)


Role Purpose

To lead and scale the South India Tile Adhesives business by driving channel and project sales, strengthening market presence, building high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across all southern states.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

  • Own end-to-end P&L and topline growth for South region – Retail (Channel) + Projects

  • Drive market penetration, secondary sales, and distributor productivity

  • Build strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, builders, architects, and contractors

  • Expand presence in premium, institutional, and project segments

Channel Management

  • Strengthen and expand distributor & dealer network across South

  • Ensure effective pricing, schemes, visibility, and product push

  • Monitor credit, collections, and inventory health

Project Sales

  • Lead project specification and conversion with builders, developers, architects, PMCs

  • Drive approvals, sampling, mock-ups, and site-level conversions

  • Coordinate with internal teams for execution and delivery

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of ~18 members (Regional / Area / Territory Managers)

  • Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance review mechanisms

  • Build a high-performance, accountable, and motivated sales culture

Strategy & Execution

  • Develop region-specific sales strategy, market mapping, and expansion plans

  • Track competition, pricing trends, and market intelligence

  • Ensure strong coordination with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams


Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 12–18 years of experience in Tile Adhesives / Construction Chemicals

  • Minimum 5–7 years in a leadership role managing large teams

  • Strong exposure to South Indian markets (TN, KA, AP, TS, KL)
