At Terrabat.green, we're shaping the future of clean energy. As a pioneer in advanced energy storage solutions, our mission is to lead the charge in the global energy transition. Through sustainable and cost-effective battery systems, we empower communities and businesses to adopt greener practices and reduce their carbon footprint.
We're in search of a young, driven, and technically strong electrical/electronic engineer to join us as a Co-Founder. You'll be the first hardware engineer on the team, playing a foundational role in building our battery tech from the ground up.
We're currently a team of three co-founders, all from a software background. While we bring deep experience in building, scaling, and exiting successful tech startups (we're all 2x founders, having raised capital, built profitable businesses, and exited successfully), we're now looking for a technical founder who lives and breathes battery tech to complete the founding puzzle.
We are also in the process of raising $1M in seed funding from angel investors and venture capitalists, which will support early R&D, prototyping, and go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the design, development, and prototyping of battery energy storage systems (BESS), focusing on electrical and electronic components.
- Contribute to circuit design, battery management systems (BMS), power electronics, and system integration.
- Participate in R&D, product validation, and real-world testing.
- Work closely with the founding team to translate vision into scalable technical solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in battery tech, sustainability, and energy storage innovation.
- Be ready to wear multiple hats, experiment, learn fast, and iterate rapidly.
Requirements:
- A recent graduate or early-career engineer (0–2 years of experience) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
- Passionate about renewable energy, sustainability, and building impactful technology.
- Strong grasp of battery systems, BMS, power circuits, and embedded systems (even at project level).
- Comfortable working in uncertainty, fast-paced environments, and hands-on prototyping.
- Self-starter, collaborative, and ready to take ownership of the technical side of the venture.
Bonus:
- Experience with hardware projects, personal builds, or EV/battery-related work.
