How will you help us achieve it?
We’re looking for an Android developer who not only knows how to build—but how to build well. Your core responsibility will be to help ship and maintain Android applications that are already in production or scaling fast. You’ll work with lean, efficient teams and contribute directly to products that users already engage with daily.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Collaborate closely with designers, founders, and backend engineers to develop Android apps.
Write clean, maintainable Kotlin/Java code with attention to performance and modularity.
Good knowledge of declarative UI designing/ XML designing, device-compatible UI
Debug and optimize existing apps for scale and speed.
Implement product features, test edge cases, and ship updates to production.
Own your code from PR to Play Store.
Proactively flag tech debt, performance bottlenecks, and improvements.

Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on Android development experience.
Proficiency in Kotlin (Java familiarity is okay).
Proficiency in XML/Jetpack compose UI design
Basic knowledge of local storage, dependency injection, MVVM architecture.
Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and agile workflows.
Experience with the Google Play Store submission and publishing process.
Strong debugging, testing, and optimization skills.
You have experience with automation testing and setting up testing frameworks
Bonus points if you have:
Built responsive apps using Jetpack Compose.
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
Exposure to networking protocols related to communication.
Contributed to open-source Android libraries or tools.
Proficiency in implementing and maintaining security measures within an Android application.
Your First Six Months
Month 1: Understand app architecture, fix minor bugs, and learn product workflows.
Month 2–3: Own a feature or module and ship your first release to production.
Month 4–6: Improve performance, reduce technical debt, and influence architectural decisions.
