Senior Backend Engineer

At INTEGRTR, we’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help scale our enterprise SaaS platform. You’ll be working in tandem with equally bright minds and own end-to-end delivery from designing scalable APIs and data pipelines to exploring new AI-powered features and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable APIs, data ingestion processes, and design/maintain databases.
• Code solutions across a wide tech stack, primarily Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Lead architecture and development of RESTful APIs and high-volume data ingestion pipelines.
• Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and promote best engineering practices.
• Automate repetitive tasks with AI and deliver clean, efficient code for enterprise applications.
• Research emerging technologies, prototype proofs-of-concept, and drive innovation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Node.js development experience.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and strong understanding of database architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS or a similar cloud stack; eagerness to learn beyond current skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and turn open-ended problems into concrete solutions.
• Excellent communication skills—proactive in aligning teams and sharing updates.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a practical balance between design and execution.

Bonus (but not required)

• Experience in enterprise tech or familiarity with platforms like SAP.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
