Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary Product Owner/Manager to drive the development and enhancement of our airline products. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading product roadmaps, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences within the dynamic airline industry. Responsibilities:
Visionary Leadership:
Develop and articulate a clear product vision that aligns with the company's strategic goals and addresses the evolving needs of airline customers.
Identify and evaluate emerging trends and technologies within the airline industry to drive product innovation.
Champion the product vision and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
Product Roadmap and Strategy:
Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Product Development and Agile Methodology:
Lead agile development teams, acting as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and decisions.
Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and groomed to support efficient sprint execution.
Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including airline partners, customers, and technology vendors.
Effectively communicate product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to stakeholders at all levels.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.
Airline Industry Expertise:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the airline industry, including passenger experience, operational processes, and regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape.
Apply industry knowledge to develop products that address the specific needs and challenges of airline customers.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for optimization.
Analyze product data and user feedback to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate product performance and insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably within the airline industry.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Passion for aviation and a deep understanding of the airline industry.
Experience with Airline reservation systems, and or Airline operational systems is a huge plus.
Experience with API driven product development.
