The Sr. Territory Manager / ASM will be responsible for driving retail sales growth in the Mumbai Western region, managing distributors and dealer networks, and expanding market penetration for tiles category products.
The role demands strong channel management, retail execution capability, and relationship-building skills.
Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory
Drive retail sales growth for tiles category
Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets are met
Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions
Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors and dealers
Appoint new dealers and retailers to expand market coverage
Ensure distributor ROI and healthy inventory management
Monitor secondary sales and stock movement
Increase brand visibility at retail counters
Ensure proper display, branding, and promotional activities along with Brand team/Field Marketing team
Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
Identify new growth opportunities within the territory
Provide regular market feedback to management
Ensure timely collections from distributors/dealers
Maintain credit discipline and reduce outstanding
Graduate (MBA preferred)
3–8 years of experience in building materials / tiles / sanitaryware / paints / consumer durables
Strong network in Mumbai Western retail market preferred
Proven experience in distributor and dealer handling
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Result-oriented with ability to work independently
