Job Title: System Administrator (Fresher)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented System Administrator (Fresher) to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree or certification in IT/Computer Science, basic knowledge of system and network administration, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Internship experience and industry certifications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, systems, and networks

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

• Provide technical support to users (hardware, software, and network issues)

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

• Perform regular system backups and ensure data security

• Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure documentation

• Support patch management, updates, and system upgrades

• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

(Diploma or relevant certification with strong knowledge can also be considered)

• Basic understanding of:

o Operating systems (Windows/Linux)

o Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

o Hardware and system troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or hands-on experience in system/network administration

• Familiarity with:

o Active Directory

o Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)

o Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure basics)

• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is an advantage

Certifications (Preferred)

• CompTIA A+ / Network+

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
